WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS
AS A SOUTH AFRICAN PAGAN ?
In accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa (Act 108 of 1996) all South Africans Pagans:
a. are equal before the law and have the right to equal protection and benefit of the law,
b. may not directly or indirectly be unfairly discriminated against on the grounds of religion, conscience or belief,
c. are entitled to have their dignity respected and protected,
d. have the right to freedom and security,
e. have the right to freedom of conscience, religion, thought, belief and opinion,
f. have the right to conduct Pagan religious observances at state or state-aided institutions,
g. have the right to conduct religious marriages in accordance with Pagan tradition,
h. have the right to freedom of expression,
i. have the right to assemble, demonstrate, picket and present petitions,
j. have the right to freedom of association,
k. have the right to choose their trade, occupation or profession freely
l. have the right to fair labour practices,
m. have the right to an environment that is not harmful to their health or well-being,
n. have the right to practise their religion and to form, join and maintain religious associations.
